Group Outing – National Cathedral in Washington ,DC Saturday May 19, 2012

Lightly attended, but overall a wonderful trip. The National Cathedral is a very awe inspiring destination. As an added bonus, we got to share lunch with the US Attorney General, sort of…

The next field trip will be on Saturday May 19th . We will be going to the National Cathedral in Washington ,D.C. There are flower gardens on the grounds also. Tripods are a no no either inside or out. If time permits we can also go to Dumbarton Oaks in NW. D.C. It is an histortic mansion and also extensive gardens.
We will meet at the park and ride at 9am. There is a fee to go in the Cathedral but free parking ,same at Dumbarton Oaks.
Hope to see a good group there.

there was some discussion at the meeting about admission and parking for the Cathedral.

Admission  $10.00
Parking for the day on Sat.   $9.00 [2.25 per person if you car pool]
