CMPG “Nature” event for June
The “Nature” event will be held this coming Saturday, the 13th, starting at 6:30a.m. We will meet under the CSX Railroad Bridge crossing the Patapsco River on Ilchester Road in Howard County. Go to:

Parking is available at the meeting site.
We will be walking to the Cascade Falls from here. The walk is 1.25 miles one way over an easy trail paved with black-top. The walk up to the falls is UP and will require the use of good non-slip walking shoes. It is likely to be slippery due to early morning dew and or the expected rain this week. The walk up to the falls is not long, perhaps a third of a mile. It is not too hard; but you’ll want to be able to clamber over the rocks once you get there. . .So do have GOOD foot wear!
The shoot will be officially over about 9:00 or a little later so some drinking water would be nice. A rest station is at the base of the hill up to the Cascade and a drinking fountain is there as well.
