I have a friend who has been heavily involved in this event for the past few years, and, from what he tells me, this event has to be seen to be believed. Let's just say that it features artists as engineers!

I agree, it's something that you have to see to truly understand/appreciate. I've gone to this the past two years and it's a lot of fun, and the 'sculptures' they make are so colorful and interesting. The best part is when they go in the harbor.
