SAINT AGNES HOSPITAL KINETIC ART PARADE 

Saturday morning kicks of at 11:00 a.m. with our 6th annual parade. Arrive early for the best parking and to stake out a prime spot along the route to see the wacky entries in the kinetic art contest, hear the bands play, laugh at the clowns, and cheer for your favorite! For more information about the contest and prizes – $1,000, $500, $250

6TH ANNUAL HOWARD COUNTY BOAT FLOAT 

At 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, the competition heats up on the lake as teams test the seaworthiness of their creations in the Howard County Rotarian’s cardboard boat regatta. For more information or to register, visit http://www.hocoboatfloat.com or call 410-740-9809.

LakeFest

The nearly monthlong Columbia Festival of the Arts begins this week with old favorites like the annual Howard County Boat Float (above) and new additions like limb- and mind-bending Cirque-Tacular.
