AdoramaPix.com and the Washington School of Photography will present "From Dusk to Dawn", an exhibit featuring extraordinary planetary images by the late Leo D. Heppner, a former nuclear physicist and lifelong astronomer.  Mr. Heppner's interest in photography and astronomy coincidentally mirrored those of Adorama, having built his own telescope as a child and combining his admiration of the constellations with a thorough understanding of photography.  AdoramaPix.com has generously donated the prints for this exhibit, and the Washington School of Photography is grateful for their sponsorship.

"From Dusk to Dawn" will also include nighttime and low-light images taken by photographers from around the world.  Vanguard, a global manufacturer of tripods, camera bags, cases, binoculars and scopes, has generously donated the awards for the "Dusk to Dawn" competition.  Proceeds generated by the Call for Entries to will benefit the Leo D. Heppner Scholarship Fund, to assist Washington School of Photography Professional Program students in their quest to become professional photographers.
