Market Day and Spring Chamber Music 2010

Description

7:30 p.m. The Atlantic Quartet will be performing: Ludwig von Beethoven’s Quartet in F Major, Opus 59, No. 1 at Cylburn Arboretum. They will be performing with Eva Mengelkoch, Cesar Franck, Piano Quintet in F Minor. The music will be begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Cylburn Mansion Salon. The Atlantic Quartet, founded in 1995, has established itself as one of the most exciting chamber groups based in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. The quartet appears regularly at major chamber music series including the Chamber Music by Candlelight series at Second Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, the Embassy Series in Washington, D.C., the Music in the Great Hall series, and the Sundays at Central series in Baltimore. Other recent performances include chamber concerts at the Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick, the Blackrock Center in Germantown, Maryland, and performances at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
