The Preakness Parade

The 35th Annual Preakness Parade will take place on Pratt Street in the heart of the Inner Harbor on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 11am. The Parade will step off on Howard & Conway Street and proceed up Howard Street to Pratt Street, it will continue down Pratt Street through the heart of the Inner Harbor and end at Market Place and Pratt.

Balloon Festival Parking and Shuttle Information

For afternoon and evening activities from 2 PM to 9:30 PM, SATELLITE PARKING for the public will be at the Howard County Fairgrounds, located at 2210 Fairgrounds Rd in West Friendship. A donation of $5.00 per car load will be asked for parking, to benefit the Elkridge Adult Athletic Association. Shuttle busses between the Fairgrounds and Turf Valley will be available starting at 2 PM and will run throughout the evening.
Vehicle access into Turf Valley will be by parking pass or handicapped designation only.
For the 6:30 AM balloon launches on Friday and Saturday: All parking will take place at Turf Valley. NO satellite parking will be available.

Preakness Frog Hop
