18/19 July 2009 – World's 1st Nuclear-Powered Merchantman N/S SAVANNAH Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Weekend Public Open-House and Tours.

Hours are from 10-4 Sat. and 10-3 on Sun.  Atoms-for-Peace exhibition, maritime community exhibits, artillery salutes, tugboat parade. WW-II liberty ship JOHN W BROWN will also be present. Canton Marine Terminal Pier 13, 4601 Newgate St., Baltimore, Harbor. Both ships free and open to the public as is nearby parking. Vessel is not wheelchair accessible. Rain or shine event -Call 410-761-1959.
